Β Was her name already on there the whole other 49 years she was alive? Did she ever set a flower on it and say "It waits for me"? ...maybe she was just really morbid to marry a guy named coffin to start with? Β

With a job like that you'd think there'd be little room for
those kinds of mistakes. Yipes!

Poor Mr Coffin. He wasnβt old at all. And his wife had to wait a long time. Always makes me sad to see the young ones. Iβve seen much younger than Coffin. Not even a year sometimes.
I wonder if he died of a sickness. It was the 19th century, so possibly.

Some think it's morbid, but I love to visit old cemeteries.Β I feel like those who passed there live for another moment when I read their stones and think about who is there, plus older graveyards have such wonderful headstones compared to the modern ones of today.
Of course, every once in a while you run upon a gem, like this one.Β lol

It's not morbid! It's history! There's all kinds of neat and sweet things in there.

Are they side by side or stacked?
Yes, I worked at a cemetery for a while.

His wife had more than three-and-a-half years on him in age. She outlived him by 49 years. Perhaps she was a Black Widow?
