The cool thing about a community like dA is meeting all kinds of people from around the world; the downside is, it's hard to take someone who lives three thousand miles away down to the local pub for a pint.So, I can't introduce *scruffy-zero to my favorite pub--but Flynn and Drake can treat the Caribbean Kangaroo and the Panama Koala to a comradely pint or three or five or, I'm guessing, about twelve by now. Here's to you, mate!

Techy-type stuff: drawn in blue pencil, cleaned up with a .05 mechanical pencil, colors in photoshop done in small tiny bites over the last couple of weeks. BG is just a messy sketch with a bunch of colors and some textures from mayang texture library .
You can see a couple of WIPs in my scraps; you can see, I decided to eschew the cut-style coloring for a simpler cell-shade.

This cracked me up when I saw it-- they look like they're having a marvelous time (with twelve pints in their systems already, though, it's too bad they won't remember most of it in the morning)!

this is really fantastic. i love the colouring - how it feels like a capture right out of a great movie or cartoon. and i love the simplistic background. it makes it look so much better. their faces are so animated - like you can hear the laughter. great lighting too. excellent piece!!
