This is an unfinished drawing of Lady from Capcom's Devil May Cry 3 game.

I wanted to draw Lady in her alternate costume. The intention was to insinuate that she was helping Dante defeat a demon. I nearly named the piece, "Dante! You forgot your sword!!"

The actual name, "21st Century Girl" was inspired by a song by Pizzacato Five, called "20th Century Girl", but seeing as that the game seems to take place in present day, it's no longer the 20th century. The title together with the piece is also supposed to reflect the trend that present day girls/young women are no longer the prim, proper, ignorantly innocent beings they once were in the earlier days - and how can they be if they're often covered in the blood of the demons they hunt?!
