Hey, Hey, Hey to all you wonderful peoples!
I REALLY tried to give this one an interesting and dynamic background without distracting from the main focus (that would be our spiky blue fiend and his chili dog
). Please let me know how it turned out, cause I'm still sort of learning this shtick (I would totally request critiques on this if I still had premium membership, BUT NO!) XDAnyhoo, it looks like Sonic was finally able snag a reward for his brave and valiant efforts! And what better a reward than a good old-fashioned chili dog!

Hey, the background turned really nice! You were indeed successful on doing a simple yet dynamic and non-boring background that doesn't distract the focus of the character ^^ You may have noticed I love abstract backgrounds like that too! They're pretty fun to draw :3 I still need to give a go at complex backgrounds and landscapes though D:

yep, landscapes can be pretty difficult to draw at times. the trick is finding a balance between making the landscape eye pleasing and making sure it doesn't distract from the main focus of the piece, and yeah, this can definitely be tricky D:
