Description There is nothing more sad then seeing someone or something just waiting to be used for what he, she, or it is "made" for.

We all have a purpose.

Great concept.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate this Sunday and we can head out somewhere.

definitely works in black and white. I love the fact that the bench itself is made of all wood, making the image even more impactful than it would be if the bench was metal or some plastic material.

The bench, therefore, is like an old unwanted person.

y'know, i always used to draw little pictures of these moments... park benches and forest paths and streams and whatnot... This totally brings me back, and in that, you have pretty much succeeded as a great photographer with this capture.

simple.

Thank you, very much.
Having a photo mean something to someone, other than just temporary eye-candy, is what it's all about for me.

Thank you.

Just used a low f/stop (probably 1.8 or so) for a shallow DoF then used Photoshop's channel mixer to get the right tones.

Talent can do that.

it's great how you put it
and i love that it's not just a straight forward shot
this angle makes me happy for it
