...Dear Lord, I now have this amazing mental image of the Doctor meeting my English teacher. *in hysterics* They would be absolutely fascinated by each other!

Clever and creative, I enjoyed this poem immensely. The way you structured the verses and lines allow for the metering of this piece to come through, adding to the flavor of the theme. Words are often used uncaringly and lazily and its refreshing to find a poet willing to use etymology as a core source for a poem.

You are quite welcome. It was my pleasure. Please keep writing like this as DA needs more poets like you.

I wasnt trying to be sweet so much as honest. There are a lot of people here who think just writing down their emotions, troubles, sorrows or joys equate being a writer. It doesnt. So when I see writers who obviously work at their craft, honing it, shaping it, I like to tell them.

Interesting format and topic. I liked the connectivity and the connected flow of your thoughts. The almost humanized construct that the idea seems to have is a very nice touch-it has a slight hint of emotions and it just works. And just the use of etymology in the piece sort of made my morning, i rarely see that word.

I don't get it. Who would get so bent out of shape about etymologies? Are you a Latin-ite?

This piece is really evocative! Reminds me a little of e. e. cummings. Great job.
