Other Names: “Rich,” “Little Birdie” (By Aunt Harriet.) “Master Richter” And “Master Grayson.” (By Alfred Pennyworth.)

Former circus star Richter Grayson was at a low point in his life before Batman came into it to help, no thanks in any part to the murder of his parents that together made up “The Flying Graysons.” Eventually he learned of The Batman’s True Identity of Bruce Wayne after he promised to help him locate the thugs that killed his parents. He spent endless nights training with help from Bruce and later he created his new identity as Robin “The Boy Wonder”, Inspired by Robin Hood, A favorite childhood story that his Dad used to read to him when he was little. As Richter got older and moved on to College, he eventually grew out of being Robin and formed a new Identity as "Nightwing" After Bruce noted that he was ready to leave The Batcave. But even as his new identity, he never forgot who helped him in a vulnerable moment in his life.
