I really like the idea of Seph being the fourth. I'm a SephTi fan and I dunno, Tifa and Seph just have this chemistry before he went nuts and he calls her by name even during his insanity (something he never did to Aerith).

I totally agree, I actually like both girls equally, but I think Aeris is better for Cloud. I just can't picture Cloud and Tifa being in a romantic relationship.

How I see it is Tifa will honestly never confess her love for Cloud, it even comes in her name: Lockheart. With Cloud, he liked Tifa as a child and even in Crisis Core. But in FF7, he fell in love w/ Aerith and she eventually fell for Cloud for being Cloud (read Maiden Who Walks the Planet). In Advent Children, Cloud loves Tifa but not as a lover. They are together purely for the kids and Cloud can never truly love anyone after the events of FF7 because of those said events, he;s just too confused/messed up in the head. This is all my opinion, I love all those 3 equally but clerith happens to be my OTP.

You know, I used to ship Clerith, and to this day either girl is fine with me, but lately I've been really liking Tifa more...
Either way, this is cute, and so true. Aerith is so blunt and not shy at all. That's what I love about her the most.

I myself, prefer Tifa and Cloud together. Why? Because Tifa is Cloud's rock. Sure, Cloud took to Aerith very quickly, to quickly in my opinion, but you've got to remember. Cloud was pretending to be someone else through the entire first disk.
Cloud wasn't Cloud. Cloud was Zack. The things he did, and the things he said were the things that Zack would of done, or said.
Like I said, Tifa was Cloud's rock through nearly the entire game, and in Advent Children. Had Tifa not been their, Cloud would of wilted away in self-pity.
Which is another thing. Cloud's mournful ways were not because Cloud was so in love with Aerith, that her death, in a whole, was all he could think about. He blamed himself for her death, which is why it had such a HUGE impact on him.
Of course if he didn't blame himself, like he did, he would have still mourned, but not like he orginally did.
You see, Cloud is a very complex character. You'd almost think he was stupid sometimes. And in some cases he is...very stupid. XD
But the ending conclusion is: Cloud never loved Aerith more then Tifa. Or Tifa more then Aerith.
You also have to remember that Cloud's identical personality to Zack was what Aerith fell in love with. It wasn't Cloud...but instead a whole other person. Aerith never got to know the real Cloud.

I see I'm not the only one who noticed that. I replayed FF7 again recently, and took in more of the story than I usually do, and I arrived at the same conclusion. Aeris, in general, has no trouble making a move towards Cloud when she feels so inclined, but Tifa, as much as she feels for Cloud, doesn't share that willingness. Tifa's happy to play the buddy, almost to the very end of the game. When the very notion of romance with Cloud (even if the romance in question is, in fact, Aeris's) comes up, she becomes tense in a hurry, and seems almost scared of the idea to say anything to him.
It doesn't even matter who people like more, though, because the analysis is correct, by and large. (The Lifestream sequence of the story seemed to insinuate that Cloud had affection for Tifa, but if that was true, why did he fall for Aeris so quickly? Ah, but that's a moot question, almost; Cloud's a self-contradictory character by nature anyway, so I pretty much gave up trying to understand him.

Hehe, That is just adorable. You did such a great job on them. I love Cloud X Aerith together. ( I also like Zack and Aerith, But.. Cloud and Aerith make a sweet couple too! )

Poor Tifa, your shyness costs you dearly. Had not been for Aeris' untimely death, you would never have had a chance with Cloud!
As much as I grieve for Aeris' death in Disc 1, Tifa as the leading female in Disc 2 made sense. The Mideel / Lifestream sequence were so wrenching.....
