Young opossum perched in the fork of a tree.I discovered this little critter eating cat food in our cat house on stilts while walking the dogs. I returned with camera in hand too find a willing subject who happily hammed it up for some seventy frames, this is my wife's favorite.

I'm a bit too far in town for the deer and the yard is fenced.. but I do see wild turkeys lately along with those other critters

Town is getting closer and closer to us, we started out mostly alone in the woods. We only see turkeys every now and then.

I think there is a secret plot from the turkeys and they plan to take over.. at first there were only a few out in the more rural areas..now they seem to turn up everywhere?!
