I'm making comics of my experiences in Fallout 4, documenting the highlights.-----------------------
Yeah, Cait grew on me. I haven't reached her 100% affinity yet so I might not friendzone her then, but it was funny how she seemed genuinely insulted at not getting flirted with> Like it was the first time that's ever happened before.
Sorry girl - I'll always be pissed that you were a cunt to Nick and the Vault Tec Rep (him especially). Those two are the very last people who deserve bullshit.

If there is one issue I have, it's the timing of the flirt options. I love the majority of the companions, but please stip giving me the flirt option during the more emotional moments...like that.

Love how human Bethesda made the companions (or at least most of them). Travelling with Cait can be a challenge sometimes... but that's what makes her feel more realistic.
I didn't know she would react like this when "rejected" though. Usually I romance everything that walks my way in fallout 4 (except for Preston because he's Preston )... if only to get the lover's embrace perk.

For some reason, I couldn't ever get along with Cait. She's just such an asshole. Her backstory explains so much, and you can understand why she is the way she is. I agree with you that Cait's parents got what they deserved. But I still can't get along with her.
There's a reason why I always gravitate towards peaceful robots and non-humans... they're just better people than humans are in general.

But yeah Im not a fan of Cait but she's basically a free companion, all you have to do is kill the people watching her fight. So I normally keep her around until I unlock Hancock or progress the story.

I seriously freaked out when that nigga strolled out of that hotel room. I was not able to fucking breathe I was so goddamn sad.
That was the worst part of the opening imho - watching this little beta everyman get shafted in the worst way possible. I hated that we couldn't do something.
Why do we slam the door on him in the opening, anyway? Did the developers thing that was funny? Shit, as a former salesman myself it felt like a personal insult.

When I found out you could find him, I lost my shit the second he talked to me. Here is this poor guy who was just doing his job, and the main character kind of brushed him off like an asshole, and then he pretty much gets told to go die when the bombs fall.
I wish so much that we could have done more with him, as of now I've given him the best home and stuff I can give him, but it honestly breaks my heart how much crap he got. And think of it, in the aftermath he was probably blamed for a lot of crap just because he worked for Vault-Tec, and I have to wonder if he tried to commit suicide at one point because he sounds so broken when he realizes someone actually knows who he is, and when he thanked me for telling him to go to Sanctuary I swear I almost cried from how happy he sounded.
Vault-Tec Rep definitely needs a lot more love T_T

One time I read a fanfiction where Vault Tec Rep is getting ready to leave Goodneighbor and Hancock gives him a goodbye blowjob. It was kind of amazing and surprisingly in-character. Because that is truly the kindest thing you can do for thy neighbor.

I really ship the idea that he and Hancock are on again/off again sort of relationship, where Hancock kind of acknowledge's his existence, but when Vault-Tec Rep is feeling kind of shitty/gets treated like crap or something like that, he's goes "aw hell no bitch wtf u doin' to my man?"

I forget the name of the burning car one, but "Death on Two Legs" (weird title, it's actually cute and has funny moments) and "In Good Company" (involves Edward Deegan so you KNOW that shit gon be gud) are my top recs plus "See You" and "Matching Scars (involves an OC who is so adorable it hurts that he's not a real NPC). Enjoy.

I really dislike Jack Cabot. He got on my shit list pretty much immediately and everything about him from the way he talks to his perspectives to his overall way of life just turns my stomach.

I think Nick would only be up for it when he's feeling super depressed, but most of the time nah not really.
I agree on one thing, the way he treats his father as just a way to continue living is really fucked up. Like, I understand the goal and all but no, that wasn't ok.
Otherwise I think Jack is just a bit...stupid. Harmless (for the most part), but really stupid.

Harmless?
The guy has a serum that increases lifespan, gives eternal youth, and protects from radiation but refuses to share with Edward because he's "not family".
The serum works on non-Cabots because it works on the SS, so there was no excuse. He uses the whole "I helped you through your ghoulification and give you a shitty room in my mansion so that means I can underpay you and treat you like shit" argument that I hate with a passion.
Jack Cabot is a self-important megalomaniac who abuses his bodyguard, literately leeches on his senile father, and lives in a sheltered little bubble of wealth and prosperity in the suffering post apocalypse.
But because he has a high-pitched voice and hipster glasses and talks about aliens he gets a free pass to adorable land.
Seriously. The only reason he isn't a boss fight is because he's only enslaving two people. And that's apparently cute.
I really hate that guy.
