Painted on Photoshop CS5; my favourite scene from one of my favourite chapters of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

The hobbits are kind-of hard to see but I guess that's the point.

What else can I say, uhh, the first painting of mine that uses no photoshop techniques such as selecting or blending modes or anything like that.

Done with a wacom bamboo - took around 10 hours.
