Taken on the 7th of June on the BluebellRailway where they announced that No 55 Stepney was to be shown off in its repainted into its original ochre livery sadly not in steam but fantastic to see a 140 year old locomotive gleaming in the glorious British summer sunshine.Please comment if you fave

alas no not for some time to come being a 140 year old locomotive there is talk to build a replica Stepney
as a Bluebell Railway member I'm not to sure what the future holds for her but I do hope her & Fenchurch back in steam one day I hope

Looks so stunning right now! I have big credits to the railway for repainting with such perfection! I did spend a little time clearing cobwebs off the lampirons last week though

it sure is built to last many lasting into the 1960's of course many rebuilding but still an old fashioned designed when the Wright brothers took to the sky’s in 1903
