Description
These are a few of my old characters I felt needed a redraw. I’m really proud of the anatomy and obvious difference in breeds. Though the colors aren’t exactly realistic, I think the redraw still looks pretty good.

The story behind them:
There was a poor maintained area where dogs had been left to roam. A group of them, mostly muscular dogs(Dobermans, mastiffs, bulls, etc)banned together under the title of “The Blue Collars”. They were of course branded by their blue collars; as can be seen, Hurricane is one. They were opposed by the “Shepherds”, a group of herding dogs that the majority were German shepherds; Bear was of this group. Deeper into the country there were more dogs still. Pumpkin, Rocky and Elaine (all variations of sheepdog) had grown up out there with Hex(a wolf) who sometimes came by for brief conversation and companionship. One day, he appeared to them with another wolf, Orion. She was strange but oddly joyous for the troubling circumstances. Hex had news of his brother, Aeron, was doin something he shouldn’t yadda and Orion had something to do with it yadda yadda the chosen one crap. They basically just went on a little adventure to return Orion to wherever she came from. Hurricane and Bear joined them along the way and had a bit of a rivals to lovers thingy.

basically, just the usual beginning artists “go-to”base story. I don’t really bother with them anymore.
