Description
So this is an art piece I made based on an instagram reel where you use elements of your birthday (12th December), to form a character design and it's made a pretty accurate representation for what I would want to be.
Your star sign influences their physical features and design, your birthstone dictates colour scheme, birth date (1-31) dictates hair length, and season of birth (spring, summer, autumn, winter) influences clothing.

I also chose to make my character a druid cos I'm playing loads of BG3 and I wanted to incorporate that somewhere.

Now, druids are magical people who have a strong spiritual link to nature and that spoke to me quite deeply, so I made her hair a flowing, free galaxy featuring the Sagittarius constellation. I also wanted her to be naked, and as close to her 'natural form' as possible, so I could contrast her image further. Despite the fact that I was born in winter, Sagittarius is a fire sign with a deep blue birthstone and I wanted to play with that temperature difference in the colours. I wanted the deep blues and purples to contrast with the druids glow, and for her to be casting 'burning hands' so she could be surrounded by orange and yellow. I made the fire minimal so I could make a semi-crown design on her head (my BG3 characters back story is that of an ex-noble woman, it felt like a cool addition but idk if I like the execution). I also liked the idea of her standing naked in the cold, saved only by herself and her own fire.

Also, I did originally design her with a bow and arrow on her back so that it would be more typical Sag, but it just didn't quite 'fit' and ended up not getting included in the final design.

But yeah! I like this version of myself, it feels more accurate than any other portrait of done of myself lol
