I've got a red 060-EA "Dolphin" but the traincars are all blue.

I'm picking up a black Tri-ang Princess tomorrow - and it should be a pretty early one!
(I'm thinking it'll be a 1952 - 1955 model)

They were usually privately-owned by very wealthy people who owned racehorses.

There was even one wealthy gentleman in the UK who would charter a train consisting of one horsebox, one carriage and one luggage van to pick up his son from boarding school at the end of each term!
(presumably he had a horse, too)
