I figured i should have a piture of my other half up, so here is Aeris. She is my balinese cat and i love her more than most people. ^^When she was younger, about 1 year old i think, she was hit by a car and her pelvis was dislocated; lucky for my family and i, the people that hit her spent a lot of time looking for the cat they had accidentally hit and the owners of said cat. When they found us we were able to take Aeris to the E-vets, where is was said that she would never walk again...
After a few days of sorrow and confusion as to what we should do, my mom opted to let me get Aeris the surgery that she needed to walk again; we took her in.
It was all planned and ready to go, when the vet takes one look at the cat and says that sometimes it is more devastating to have a surgery like this... and sometimes things can right themselves. So we took Aeris home and gave her cage rest for 6 weeks, much to her dislike, but she came out fine in the end.
I am so thankful that my kitty was able to recover; it was the second miracle i have witnessed in my life. ^^
Aeris has a brother, Leon, who is slightly retarded <.<
He looks just like her but bigger and his fur is more unkempt. Leon is all laid back and kind slow, but Aeris is an angry person and rather quick to hiss at her brother for being stupid; it's cute to watch them interact. ^^

Hi there! You have a beautiful cat, here! ^^ I am actually considering a Balinese, but I was just wondering if you knew how allergenic they are? For example, are they a hypoallergenic breed of cat? Do they agitate people's allergies less than other cats? I've heard they are one of the better breeds for people allergic to cats... I'm sorry for your time, haha, but if you could answer that would be great! Thanks very much!

Well there is a LOT of fur involved (and thus a lot of dander)so i would say average allergenic...ness. I wouldn't say they are better for allergic people, but i did have a friend that was very allergic to cats who lived with me for a while and her allergies seemed to calm down a bit. I would chalk that up to exposure though.
As long as you remember to wash your hands before touching your face, you should be fine ^^'

And aww, something similar happened to my cat, Mitzi, only her pelvis got fractured and we still don't know what really happened. She hated being in a cage XD She'd look at us with huge eyes and try to escape when we changed her food and things X3

gorgeous kitty...i also have a siamese kitty...his name is zeus...i love him to itty-bitty pieces...last june, zeus was in an accident, more than likely with a car...he luckily made it okay...however, zeus now has one eye and some jaw problems
