Description
Yarn was a timid little grey kit who was picked on by two-legs and otherwise traumatized into submission. He was sure he would die on the streets, but an older street-wise kit named Leon took him in as a brother. They both joined Goldenpelt's DarkClan... a horrible place, but not to them. They were taken care of in return for their service of the clan.

Neither could understand how corrupt their leader was until Leon's blood brother, Blaze, took to an unlikely friend: Wolfthorn of RiverClan. The RiverClan deputy became a spy and through that gained Blaze's allegiance. Leon was put off by it and he didn't much care for Wolfthorn, Yarn took his opinion on the matter, but they had to admit that Wolfthorn held a lot of interesting information.

After that, Yarn dreamed of running on the open plains with WindClan cats, but his timid demeanor prevented him from doing anything but following Leon, who still thought highly of DarkClan.

Blaze made them all (the apprentices of DarkClan: Leon, Yarn, Slate and Serena) realize that they were on the wrong side. In the end, Leon and Serena took to ThunderClan, Blaze took to RiverClan with his new mentor Wolfthorn and Yarn took to WindClan, just as he had always dreamed. Spottedstar mentored him herself and he became Rapidbreeze.

He still speaks to his surrogate brother about DarkClan. About their friends and about the battles. Now, though, he often wonders what became of Slate. She was said to got into ShadowClan, but no cat had seen her for seasons. Rapidbreeze had always loved her... Would he now?
