lol this is just like the meowth oneOne of my favourite playthroughs of HGSS had a Corsola as my mandatory water type. I called her Aquaria after a Corsola I had as a kid. For some reason the image of Gold surfing on her always stuck out in my mind while I played, and now that I'm training her in Alpha Sapphire I decided I had to draw it. Gold's a little embarrassed, but at least Aquaria's enjoying herself.
This is all done with pencil crayons (coloured pencils)! I haven't used them in ages~

Hahahaha! So I wasn't the only one who used Corsola as a main surfer during a playthrough!
I also did this in HeartGold with Azure Mage. For me, I always imagined my trainer standing tall and proud whilst surfing with her. Except... not really, because Corsola's small so you kinda have no choice BUT to stand tall if you wanna stay completely dry. So you end up not looking nearly as cool as you think you do as a result. Especially if your corsola needs to battle, heheh! I never actually imagined being able to sit down on a surfing corsola like this... I guess that can work too! It'd certainly be more comfortable and sensible.
I'm getting ahead of myself. Point is, this is not only super cute but it reminds me of my adventure too. So thank you for making this pic! It's really awesome! ^_^

You're very welcome! Yeah, I figured it would be really easy to lose your balance if you were standing, so I guess that's what made me picture it like this. ^_^; And surfing on a battling PokΓ©mon sounds like a nightmare regardless of what PokΓ©mon it is lol
