I've seen instances of people complaining about them, but I think it's unjustified. I mean sure, they were inspired after Mario Kart's -inhale to have Mario's voice here- BABIES -. People ironically despite Coco more than Crash, but I think they're cute, either one or the other! They're babycoots! I don't exactly know what they were expecting (I certainly was expecting more actual real life baby coots!), but both adhere to how Rosalina got her baby version as well. It's not canon and even if it is, I think it falls more into order of Warped's game (remember that Cortex and N. Tropy did indeed get babified) and even brings Baby T to prove us that! And even Baby Cortex and Baby N. Tropy will inevitably come. Coco doesn't have her hair fully grown yet, as well as Crash.
I was actually surprised they gave them baby fangs pff (random baby teeth), especially to Coco lmfao it just makes them more believable honestly
