Are these idle animations getting old...? I'd like to end up doing all of the characters, but maybe they're just becoming boring and repetitive the more I make these. I feel like it'd be more impressive if I could post them all in one go but I'm not nearly good enough to do that, they always take far too long....Anyway, for now, it's "Queen of Liars" Celestia Ludenberg. Those twin drills and the many whites did not make things easy on me.

I don't know who any of these characters are, but I'm far from getting "bored" of them. They're all so freakin' adorable.

Hey, thanks. ...That might be more because the designs are great, though.
I'm just worried because it takes such a long time for each one that people will start feeling like "okay, we get the idea, got anything else?" since they all feel more like small parts of one set than separate, fully finished pieces that can stand on their own. If I could finish them all immediately and post them as one thing like the Youtube sprite sets I'd feel more comfortable with it, I think, but there's no way.
I can't tell much from the response to these, either, since it seems to be sheer coincidence how many notes they get on Tumblr, for example. Maybe I should try animating a character from something less obscure sometime and see what that gives? I can think of a lot of characters that might be fun to try but I'm not really sure what would be best either way.

Thank you! I just get my doubts every now and then... maybe the fact that I've just been staring at this thing for hours on end has something to do with it. It's certainly true that I do a lot of thinking to try and avoid any of them seeming too similar, and to make sure it all feels accurate to the characters.
I think I might want add some things to one of the older ones instead of starting another one next, though.
