Description
This is my impression of King Saul in his depression. He is in a room that has the only way out in front of him. Goliath of Gath's sword is mounted on his wall- it is supposed to be a victory trophy but it mocks him as the people cheered "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands." Saul is already holding a spear, waiting for the mood to come where he will lash out at someone.
