They've got each others' backs.Nadine and Cezary from Valkyria Chronicles.
Based on their in-game "Potentials" rather than on... something... else... I'm innocent, I swear!
Also sorry for the crappy proportions... I have put way too much time in this, especially since the end result is so underwhelming, and I have to do a lot of stuff for uni in the next couple of days (which are already very busy)... oops.

This is a nice piece. I mean, as much as thought Cezary could be a jerk but I thought he was unique enough. Then I had a moment where Nadine was about to be blown away by an assault for Cezary to make a life saving headshot. Then in that moment, I paired these two up all the time. I love how a similar thing happened in the manga.
Now the image. The amount of detail is pretty good and the same applies to the amount of effort in the creases in the uniforms. How Nadine has a notebook was a very lovely touch. The facial gestures make this very nice to see.
Also, I like flower on Cezary's side of the image.

Yep. The Valkyria Chronicles Manga follows a very different story from the anime. And yep, Cezary is kinda tsundere for Nadine in it.
Now granted he isn't a tsundere from the get-go. He's actually a fully-fledged legit Darcsen-Hater when we first meet him in the manga. But as he and Nadine spend more time on the front together he kinda warms up to her a bit more and starts to shed that part of himself.
It's more of a gradual, slow process with him. And even then he's still NOT the best at admitting it. But it happens, in the course of four volumes.

Looks good to me, did you switch pencils because your outlines look more defined. My brother just downloaded Valkyria, looks like fun.
