Simply a Isuzu Gemini / Geo Storm in Christmas theme.As a way of both celebrating Christmas and testing a new art style, I decided to draw an illustration for my automobile-based blog on NAVER. Inspired by some of car illustrations and a handful artworks I saw days ago, I tried a sharper, cleaner and more vibrant art style. Personally, the result seems somewhat more satisfying than I thought in the earlier progress, while there are some smaller rooms for improvements.
What makes it relavant with Christmas? There's a color theme, and a couple of witty extras I added into there; It got a giant Santa hat (which is a part of the roof box) and a round nose. I briefly considered a red nose, but scrapped it because making it "all red" would be somewhat boring. Also, green is a color that's related with Christmas along with red and white, right?
Also, as a car guy, I want to remind you guys that it's the model that's equipped with 4WD - makes it more fitting to snowy Christmas environment than expected!
