With her basic water magic skills, Lapis got a job at a restaurant, using water manipulation to efficiently use a contraption that holds several different drinks. She needs money because she currently can not afford a new pair of glasses for Connie so she's taking as many opportunities to work as she can.

Parvus stopped by to get herself a drink. She has been struggling to provide for herself and her runeboo and often ends up staying at the nook. It started snowing while Parvus was heading back to the nook so she slipped into the restaurant, barely having enough for a drink. She bought the drink as an excuse to stay and warm up for a bit. She watched Lapis carefully manipulate the liquid out of the container and into her glass, and started thinking about magic. While Parvus hadn't been as excited about magic as a wyngling as many of the others, it was undeniably useful...

Was really trying to give the whole place a very warm look, used a lot of reds. If anyone has other tips for doing this feel free to toss em at me in the comments. Obviously this was kinda lazy compared to my normal work but I still like to put a lot in when it comes to colors,,
