=Enaxn 's Denali
. Lookin' all majestic and powerful in his old forest.Full colour commission, the last for probably a long while. It went through quite a few changes, and I'm decently happy with the outcome.

omg! again with the awesome scales and details! (hey that rhymes!) i just love the cool glowiness of the eye and how everything else but the dragon is kinda hazy like your focusing only on him. great art keep it up!

ah! the perspective! the scales, wings, and "hairy" details! lol(ur hair is always so detailed, like every strand is drawn with care) it's all so amazing. and omigosh i can't forget about the background with it's many realistic leaves.

You have such an awesome understanding of color and light. The perspective in this is really nice too, especially with the wings and the rock. I think the neck looks a little flat, though.It feels like there should be some overlapping lines/shadows where the chest or collarbone comes in front of it. Or maybe it should be a little thinner (since it's farther away)? At any rate, the piece looks really good.

Thank you! You're right about the neck, it's mostly the hair that's killing the depth and form of the dragon. I didn't very much like how it turned out but I'd been working on it for too long to go and redo it all again, if I'm very honest

This is so creative and you did a grate job at keeping that front leg from blending in with the rest of the fur, i would have never been able to do that so good

I'm always a sucker for forest-centered pieces, especially when a lot of effort has gone into executing a woodsy background that is detailed and deep.
One thing I particularly like is that the difference in the level of detail between the character and the background is not unreasonable, a pattern a lot of people (understandably) fall into. I'm especially impressed with the detail you put into the bark, it makes the trees really look...like trees!
And of course what everyone else said--lighting, angle, color, etc. Very nice!
(and the scales are super-delicious)

wonderful pose, great detail! I specially ike the backround pretty much (`cause i canΒ΄t draw them:'D) The scales are looking very realistic but I canΒ΄t say the same about the fur....it looks like you have wanted to finish it quickly.....But it still looks really proffessional!

Everybody comments on how the fur looks off xD. The thing is, I didn't like the fur myself. I was willing to redo it all, but the commissioner said it was exactly as she wanted it to be. That's why I didn't change it again :3.
