I always meant to comment on this one, but I never got around to it. I don't have anything constructive to say though. I just think this chick looks totally badass (look at that jacket!) and the futuristic - or at least technological - spin to it makes it very cool. The thing on her left hand is really interesting, and the pale planet rings back there make for an original background. I like that there's a thin sort of fog over the city, too, it makes for a good setting. For some reason, I didn't immediately notice the weapon on her back. I have no idea why - it's definitely not the type of gun you see a lot of people draw, and I like the details on the handle, but maybe my eyes were just attracted to other sections of the picture. It's definitely not unassuming though, haha. Anyway, yes, I like this a lot!

Haha you're so awesome neko Thanks for taking the time to
tell me how cool she is. I just saw her on a website the other day
talking about deviantart and I bugged out! I do like this one a lot but
I want to go back and make some changes. I got a print of it a couple
months ago, and it was so dark you couldn't see anything. I think the gun probably
blends in value wise, I can see where you might skim over it when looking at the piece.
It was hard for me to figure out a light source since it was at night and so I think
everything ended up with the same overall value which takes away from it a bit.
Bah I need to draw more -_-

Regarding the light source thing, I think the glow in a few spots already makes it more lively from this standpoint. And all artists need to draw more to get better and perfect their skills! (:

Beautiful coloring and detail! The lights in the background really add to the atmosphere.
