Description Saw 300 the other day, went home and did this speedpaint in about an hour. Obvious anatomy issues, but i was more just messin around than anything. It was fun.

this is AWESOME. the colours are exactly like in the movie.. rich golds and reds. i love 300.. you should play god of war, its just like 300 but a game!!!

you think i haven't played both?! lol! I love those games. And that new one Heavenly Sword is almost making me want a PS3...almost. Still too expensive!

Looks great The only thing that stounds out to me as being off is the arm holding the spear, it looks too short and too far back. The motion in the painting is incredible though, it really draws you in The colours are also great choices.

thanks. since it was a speedpainting i didn't really focus on the anatomy, I know it has its issues. I was just looking to capture the feeling I got after seeing 300. So now I try not to look at it, lol

I think the somewhat incongruent anatomy lends itself well to the emotion of the imagery.

Ohh, it looks nice for a speed painting! The helmet with the blood splotches looks especially awesome.
