Description
Wondering how much longer the rusty elevator could possibly travel up, Ffionn looked uncomfortably at the two beings. He quickly looked back at his feet regretting the moment as their spiraling eyes stared hungrily into his soul. Ghost like butterflies fluttered about as light began to shine through the bars of the elevator.'Where were they taking him?'
'Was it dangerous?'
'What if he never returns home?'
'Why were they bringing him to wherever it might be?'
Countless thoughts ran through the young fox's head. Stepping towards the gate, he took ahold of the bars looking down at how far up they've traveled. Vertigo pushed it's way forcefully through the fox as he began to feel dizzy. He gasped in shock avoiding eye contact with the ground as the old, rusty elevator continued to travel up, and up, and up.
edit 4/13/17: I entered this in a district art show. I also fixed some things with it and refined smaller details.

The lighting in this is wondereful.
You really get the sense of worry and the feeling of caution of not knowing whats going to be at the bottom.
The coloring and shading really brings out the dreadful and the heart stopping feeling.
Ffionn the dear has the look of curious and shocked.
The coloring for him is wonderful.
The blood stain looks real which is very good in my opinion.
The movement of the robe and the gown gives the sense of cold wind that you get in stories like this and gives you actual goosebumps. This is really amazing.

as aLWays, the sh ading is b eautiful, the effects with the butterflies are very pretty, Ffionn's eyes are just sldgSLDKG that's a beautiful bronze colour + the shading on them is r eally accurate to irl eyes, and the clothes folds and seams are placed appropriately, and the blood is fantastically realistic ;v;
tbh the o nly thing that needs some adjustment is that, when you use external images for your drawings, double-check to make sure there is no part of the drawing clipping through it, b/c Ffionn's finger is going through one of the b ars. That's all uvu

Simply beautiful. The image and the story in the description fit perfectly together, sending the message you were trying to get across. The art style+coloration on character are very imaginative and realistic, minus the anthro part. Also you're really good at drawing hands! I can't do that very well yet. I suppose this may be in a post-apocalyptic world, where something dramatic happened to the world itself? Correct me if I'm wrong.
One of my favorite parts is the lighting and the transparency of the butterflies, as well as how well the two parts go together. You've really outdone yourself with this one, Cara. Marvelous.
