Description Some ACEO cards I made a while ago.
The theme was "mythical creatures" (an online dictionary tries to tell me that another translation for this is "fabulous creatures". What. Is that correct?)

From left to right:

Rusalka (the Russian equivalent to a mermaid)
Faun (those half-goat-dudes)
Yuki Onna (the 'snow woman' out of Japanese folklore)

I'm sorry for the lazy descriptions - mythical creatures are fascinating, so go and check out wikipedia.

It's been a while since I used watercolor...
I should do more of that, this was fun

In echt sind die viel farbenfroher.
Find sie aber dennoch schön. Ich muss immer auf das Wasser starren, das wirkt echt bewegt.

Also dein Gedächtnis was Farben angeht ist mit absoluter Sicherheit besser! Es kann aber sein, dass unsere Bildschirme anders eingestellt sind.

I'm SO jealous of your traditional skills! I think the middle one is the most interesting one since I'm not used to it. As in, you usually draw girls. And I really like the concept. But that doesn't mean the other two aren't pretty. You are a master in traditional drawings/paintings. Great job Cara! <3 I'm looking forward to your next drawing.

It does not happen too often that somebody takes a closer look on your pictures and/or remembers them, so your comment makes me really happy.
