Lovely picture, though it's indeed sad seeing Yang in such a state. Β But after how the second half of Volume 3 went down, is it any wonder she's in such a rut, it's amazing she didn't go insane from the immense trauma she endured. Β And let me guess, she's trying to rip off the Bumblebee patch in case Blake comes by, as unlikely as that may be. Β I can see it happening.

I highly doubt she'll give up her previously heroic life for a life of crime, no matter how far she falls. Β The worst I see for her is almost killing someone who mocked her plight, not to mention trying to drown her sorrows in alcohol. Β And I'm certain it'll be Taiyang who pulls her back from the brink and helps the disgruntled girl find herself once more. Β Maybe now she'll realize that being a Huntsman is not all fun and games, it's DEADLY serious. Β And I daresay Yang will be far more serious once she returns to action, which will be bad news for Emerald and Mercury. Β Until then...

To be honest I think Yang being broken down to that degree was for the best
since I always found her personality to be quite annoying.
Also if Qrow knew where to locate his sister, WHY did he wait after Yang got
framed at the tournament to tell her?

Seeing Yang's design and thinking back to Volume 3 made me think "Retrograde" by James Blake as being the ideal theme song for Yang Xiao Long now because it illustrates how she has given up because she has lost so much of what made her a burning flame once upon a time.Β

i think she needs to come to terms with her own vulnerability and her own weakness and accept it before she can be able to fight again. i see a real opportunity for her to grow as a character here and i feel it would be ok even if she doesn't get a new arm. being able to fight with only one arm would make her pretty badass too

Β I'm certain she'll get a robo arm in Volume 5, fighting off packs of Grimm and possibly renegade robots or mechas with one arm is just not feasible, regardless of how "awesome" it may be. Β What happens if an opponent binds her one good arm, she'd be all but defenseless and soon be overwhelmed, depending on the circumstances. Β One-arm martial arts might work against people, but not packs of bloodthirsty monsters, so she'll need to become whole again before she can rejoin the fight. Β But I know she will, in time.

Who says she WILL rejoin the fight. I just see her as someone who would
go down the path of becoming Anti Huntsman as well as a crime lord.
