Pun-art of Sagat (Street Fighter). Please full-view!This has been in my mind for a long time. The first design met with my obsessively picky high standards, but the second one actually made it through the sketch, ink, and colour stages. One thorough blasting with a saturation filter later, and here it is... the Emperor's new clothes.
In case you don't recognise the tagline, it's a chopped-up Sagat quote... "You are not a warrior... you are a beginner." Ah, Sagsy, you and your baldness. Will you ever learn?

You know, if this ever gets popular, it wouldn't surprise me if someone beat me to it and sued me for copyright infringement! That's what bothers me about being popular and recognised; the amount of mouth-breathers out there who are ready to jump on the gravy train and take the credit themselves. Not that i am popular and recognised; maybe i'll never have to worry about it.

As for you being popular and recognised, besides it being something that bemuses me, I'm pretty sure your time will come. IT WILL COME!! It really baffles me how some of your funnier ideas aren't universally appreciated.

You're welcome; and i agree that the cons to popularity and fame don't (in my opinion!) outweigh the pros. Paying my bills by drawing fan-art on napkins would be fabulous, and i think i can handle shaking greasy unwashed nerd hands at conventions... perhaps i'll stock up on surgical gloves beforehand. Maybe one day...
As for ideas, i guess i'm just not getting seen by too many influential people. I think my big claim to fame was that 'TheShend', who is a popular fighting games player and webcaster, has seen and commented on my work... apparently. I haven't read the comment! Maybe there's a pun conspiracy going on... a pun-spiracy.
