I remember those Hitler 'Ghosts'. And when they died, they had that evilΒ maniacal laugh that creeped me out.

Yeah, that's right, but did you know:
According to various guides and manuals: the dummy is hung by thin string and has a flamethrower mounted in its chest. This is designed to scare intruders into thinking that the dummy Hitler is casting a magic fireball through the fancy talisman hung about its neck. It is not clear whether the Nazi soldiers or Hitler himself control the effigy.
That's why they can't open doors. LOL
"Oh no, my only weakness: closed doors! NOOOOOOO!"

I didn't knew that. But whatever the design behind it was, it's laugh was always very scary.

I guess so.

Now that is one really interesting interpretation of the Mutant there, with the green uniform and whatnot no matter if they`re being absolute nightmares to engage, really o_o

Well, that's exactly how they look like in the game:

No worries about it, I know, only that I find the idea of a green uniform kind of interesting, since given that the game is implying that they`re experiments of Dr. Schabbs, you would think that they would wear prison attire more than the uniform they have~

They're some kind of "super soldiers" and would later be sent to the battlefield so it would be logical for them to wear a soldier's uniform.

I still wonder why the green ones though. Maybe because they would be too troubling for the living to get them regular Nazi uniforms, like some levels ominously hint about?

Maybe because it's better for hiding in forests?

Maybe, since then it would be nicer if they would have camo ones. But well, it can also be ID`s artistic license alone as well :,D

Or maybe because germans also had green uniforms:

That too, even tho as much as I had seen, the German ones are off-green to more olive-green than this strong green hue we see the Mutants wear. Hmm, definitely something more to ponder on, that`s for sure.
