Just playing around with Victoria 4's facial morphs and the Maya skin texture.No, I have no idea why it's a different colour on her hand than her face.
There are a few things that still need fixing (wtf Daz? Sometimes your models break impressively!) but I do quite like how she came out...

The texture is Daz's Elite Maya, the lights are custom - a plain UberEnvironment 1 and (I think) two distant lights: one specular only for the highlights and one for backlighting the scene.

Well sometimes IRL certain parts of the skin can be a slightly different shade depending on the circumstances, so I wouldn't worry about the skin. She's really lovely, I love the little half-smile she's got here too.

These were, I think, full body scans of a model and turned into a professional texture, so I guess the poor woman really does have hands lighter than her face... or possibly has poor circulation. O_o
Nana Mizuki, who I modelled the face after, really is the most adorable woman and she has the same half-smile... I absolutely had to try to replicate it, because she really is such a sweet girl. XD So if you like the smile, it makes me happy because it means it looks quite natural, which is something I really struggle with in 3D.

This render looks very soft and delicate, she's lovely! I was going to ask about the skin colors, but then I read your comment.

When they make the skin textures, they actually take high-resolution full body photos of a model, which is why the skin is so realistic... but unfortunately it may mean that the model has weird skin tones. 
I'm really glad you like how she came out... she took quite a bit of tweaking and the render times were appalling.
