If the inking looks a bit strange today, it's because I've just discovered that inking whilst drunk is actually easier than inking whilst ill (which is my present condition); you know you're not too well when the page starts to swim...I read a write-up of this coming Saturday's Primeval episode - it said something about Connor trying to create an "anomaly detector". And for some reason all I could think of is something like a cross between Ghostbusters and Typing of the Dead...
This is the first time I've successfully drawn Connor. I was initially a bit ambivalent about his new haircut but... now I know his personality is still the same in the show - and now I find it's a lot easier to draw and make it look like him than the last one - I don't mind it at all.
As to his expression... maybe he's just found some Stephen/Connor fanfic on that laptop, maybe even some Nick/Stephen. ...Can't be Connor/Abby, because then he'd be wearing a huge grin...

Nope, it's very much not floating. 
The best bit was that they redid the graphics so that the characters were no longer holding guns, but were wearing keyboards strapped onto their bodies.
And Connor just really struck me as the kind of person who not only knew about that game, but would have played it to death. And then would have modelled his detector on it.
I'm kinda sad that the real anomaly detector didn't look so overblown-ly ridiculous. It looked far too cool to be designed by Connor.

These keyboards are why the game always looked so awesome, but it's a bit difficult to look cool in them...

I did some pre-season sketches a while back, mostly of Captain Becker... I'll get around to uploading them soon.
The new season's been quite enjoyable and has definitely given me the urge to draw more. So maybe I'll have some new Connor stuff up soon too!

Connor kinda irked me to start with, but he really grew on me. XD He's so ditzy I think it's difficult not to love him.

Inking.. while drunk? I suppose it is easier.. you did very well, especially on those small lines! I agree with kyliemason above me.. I have seen other primeval fanart recently ^^ Its a lovely change though!

There's a picture a fair while back in my gallery of a Kitsune boy; I inked it whilst I was drunk and it came out well. But then, the paper wasn't swimming around in front of me quite so worryingly then either.
The new series of Primeval has just kicked off here, so that's most likely the reason for it. I missed my fill of random, nonsensical dinosaur action and somehow the DVD of the first series didn't quite cut it like brand new episodes do~

Haha, well, I don't really recommend it - a couple of years ago I only just scraped through NaNoWriMo, and when I did I was exceedingly drunk. So much so, that when I read back on what I'd written (8k!) the day after, I... couldn't remember writing the last sections.
Imagine that, but with a pen... XD;
