It happened again. The mistress of the orphanage came in and blamed
him for something he didn’t do. All because another boy said he did.

Otherland (working title) is a remake of a cancelled game in 2016 called Patches. It is surreal horror game made in rpg maker. It is heavily story-driven and could be considered a visual novel as well as a simple puzzle game. The game is not meant to be hard. It's meant to tell a story much like Deep Sea Prisoner's Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea or the Gray Garden, but with small puzzle elements like in Dreaming Mary. Unlike its failed predecessor, it will be a sideview game focusing on tasks involving the characters around the player, rather than the environment, much like the Alice in Wonderland it was based off of. I plan to have the full game done in 2021. However, the game will be released in episodes (are done by area) to keep my interest and other people's interest in the series.
