More sketchin, this time in pencil and ink on the front cover of a blank varient copy of Marvel’s new Avenging Spider-Man #1, just for fun/ practice. If you’re wondering what the monster thing is at the bottom of the page then make sure you read the book!Its been a while since I’ve picked up a Spidey book (or any Marvel comic for that matter) since the whole ‘One More Day’ thing where they undid the last 20 years of the storey, making the last 2 decades or so of reading totally irrelevant. I always said it would take an exceptional artist to make me pick one of these books up again and Joe Madureira is certainly that guy. And with Marc Silvestri on Hulk things are looking up for Marvel as far I’m concerned

Looks really good, just gotta watch your feathering/hatching on Spidey's body -- needs a thick to thin from dark to light areas, not just lines

Thanks, mate! Yea It was pretty cool working with inks on this... just started with a really rough basic pencil sketch and did the inks from there. I think it gave a more satisfying end result for a sketch cover.
