inspired by Patricia A. McKillip's books all the time, i finally painted an scene. sometimes they don't turn out they way you picture it in your head, but this one turned out better. probably the darkest i've gotten with watercolors lately.it turned out a little blurry from the scan because the paper's pretty warped.

Excellent picture! I read the book in a fantasy class at a school/summer camp this summer .it was pretty good. My sister calls it the CHAng-lang sea. The fan art is hilarious!
