Description
This one's for a fantasy painting assignment at school. It really took me forever, literally days. The last night I worked on it, I pulled an all nighter. I'm still new at this painting thing, so I know there are more than a few mistakesI kind of like the idea that each one of the mermaids is a different deadly sin.
Black and White- Sloth
Red- Wrath
Aqua- Lust...
That wasn't the original plan but it kind of turned out like that

Beta-maids, red, green and silver. Siamese fighting fish are a favorite inspiration for mermaid pictures and your intense effort made this one stand out out in the crowd. Great job!

okay if you are not famous you should be i have seen famous artwork that was not even as good as this. i used to draw and sketch mermaids meself but this.... this is the best mremaid sketch i have ever

This is absolutely...freakin'...GORGEOUS!!! You even got the dark underwater tones and waving hair perfectly done! I'm so glad you didn't just go with the traditional "flipper tail" and actually showed some variety in the mermaids' forms. Underwater, with their tails matching their hair, they almost look like three burlesque fan dancers, twirling in the deep.
