Okay, I've decided to go back to Alice's old look. I've also ditched the school uniform and gave her the outfit I've designed for Giselle. I think it suits her better.

Honestly, I think this look is a bit better for her (I'm a sucker for utter sexiness in leggings) especially if you want her to be the human version of Giselle.

The character and costume design seem very good. Definitely not school-like now (but the teacher angle still could have been interesting). The badge on the vest still infers association with an institution of some sort, in the past or current.
I see your preference for short hair prevails.
The dark colour on the costume, and her hair colour certain highlight the red tie and heart headband, and the blue eyes of course.
The tome she hold infers a supernatural context, although the script on the cover reminds me of Tolkien's Elvish.
Very nice. I hope that it is an inspiration for a story, or vice-versa. I shall keenly await the mystery behind Alice.

The comic is going to be a joke per page thing with a sort of story joining them together. I have about 12 pages written. Now I'm just designing the characters.

"written" sounds like a script, which makes sense for a story and punch-line/s.
Which I guess means mock-ups for each page, then drawing, inking and colouring/toning; the latter steps done digitally judging from earlier posts regarding your choice of tools.
No small feat!
