Such a wonderful piece of work. And I just noticed something. Your clean-up pencil work in the lower left corner looks so much like your inking to the right. And I'm specifically talking about the shape and thickness of the lines on the foreground characters. Is it really just pencil? Do you actually plan out where to make thicker brush strokes at that stage of the process?
Because I always assumed that that part just came naturally during inking.
This might be of great help to me, as I am currently working on improving this stage of the process in my own works.

Hello Whalesshooter. First, thanks for the words on the art.
You do not need to mind in determining the pencil parties you will give more weight, this can be done directly in the ink, to gain time.
In my case, particularly, I prefer to set this in pencil before the adoption of art, this ends up being a guide already set for me in time to make the ink.
As this is only a single art (cover) makes no difference in the end, in the time it takes me to finish it.
Always do what best suits you, provided that you like the end result.

Thank you so much for the reply. I will try to experiment with planning out the fluid thicknesses of the lines in pencil before inking, although I assume that in time I'll be able to become confident enough to make such motions directly in ink. To save time.
Speaking of which. I happen to know that the norwegian Donald Duck artist Arild Midthun actually saves quite a bit of time by drawing the rough sketches of his pages in orange pencil, then drawing the clean sketches directly on top of that with pink pencil, before inking on top of it all. Then he scans the page and removes the orange and pink lines in Photoshop.
However this process doesn't leave him with any pure pencil sketches for people to see, like with the wonderful pencil works that you sometimes post here on Deviantart.
