Description It took a lot of time to finish this one, but is was worth it. The inspiration came out of an exercise/tutorial from the book: Digital Painting Techniques Vol 2.

I choose to draw an escape from a planet to close to a star. With a simple composition. I think it is a powerful illustration becouse it tells a story, and I'm trying to think more into the story and background of
what I draw.

Let me know what you guys think of it.

It's a pretty cool illustration and idea! The only thing that I can think of to improve would be the fact that the tunnel into the rocket has lots of detail and saturating, but the rest of the illustration blends and fits together in a way. It kind of throws the viewers eyes off. But other than that, it's a great work of art! Keep it up

Yeah I saw that....maybe if I extend the clouds on the bottom over the tunnel, that will desaturate and will blend some of the detail on the tunel. Thanks.
