I found this picture somewhere... possibly even here on Deviant- however, I don't recall where I found it. If it's your eye, I'd like to congratulate you on having such a pretty eye, and give you credit for the original.Anyway, I found a picture of an eye. Being an eye geek (i.e. someone who reeeeeally likes eyes), I drew it.
This was also the first picture I drew in one day! Wooo! (of course, it's about 3 or four inches wide, but oh-well!) I win! Ha ha!
5 x 8 paper (only used about half of that). Pencil.

Thanks. I REALLY wish I could find the reference I used for this (as whoever took the photo was obviously amazing) ....alas, me with my "1 year ago I just printed off stuff and drew it without giving a thought to keeping track of the original" self.

I know it's a pain to keep up with, but yeah giving credit to other's work is important. I think you did your best trying to do that, since it was so long ago and before you realized the need to do so. If I was the artist that took the reference shot I would try to be understanding.

Yeah, I realize that giving credit is extremely important now--it just didn't occur to me back then ...oh well. What's done is done. And, just like you said, the artist would probably be understanding about it (...probably).
