This book is some of the work I'm most proud of so far in my career and sadly it doesn't get as much love as the other stuff.

Fantastic composition! And such a sense of mystery everywhere...love the frog in the foreground.

Thanks. I wanted to get in as many eyes or things that look like eyes as possible. Hence the frog. It needed to loo a little mysterious and otherworldly on this page so it looks like it's job done.

Aaaah..yes. Well done! Now that you mention it, it does seem as if everything in the picture is coming to life, or has eyes of some kind.

I paid great attention to the knots in the wood, the tree to the left looks leary etc...

I can't see why its not getting the love. I love the feel of this pic. There's this anticipation here that I am so often unable to put into some of my own pieces. And the lighting coming through the trees just makes it. Great stuff man!

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I don't know why people don't respond to it either. Oh, well. That's the way it goes. There will be some ten year old on dA badly tracing some AnimΓ© crap which will get 10,000 faves. Ha ha. It's brilliantly bonkers, really.
