This is one of my ink drawings from How To Save A Dragon that I've spruced up a bit in PS with a little colour.

People don't seem to be reacting to the line images on this site so I thought I'd try the old moth to a flame routine.

This image shows Wendigo / Windigo, the main villain of the book. He is a shadowy creepy Hunter and poacher and in one chapter of the book Oscar has a dream that Wendigo, breathing fire, is trying to capture and kill all the dragons.

I based him on an unlikely cross between David Tennant's Doctor and Lono from 100 bullets with a little western and Victorian big game hunter thrown in for good measure.

My untold idea for the character is, like his namesake, he doesn't just capture the dragons for money. He 'takes' something too. Maybe eats something and he is slowly changing from a normal guy into something else. His teeth are getting sharper. His eyes are pale and milky. His finger nails are pointed and sharp like talons. And his hair spikes up like the dragon's quill feathers...
