This is the final part of the history of Medusa. At the end she was transformed in to a monster and was exiled in a ruined temple. Even thow the goddes Athena punished her, Medusa continued praising her, Athena was moved because of this act of devotion, so she decided to have the head of medusa in her shield as a sign of respect.
