It's taken me a while to end up getting around to this.
Very nice work here. Simple looped animation, with some good perspective pixel work. Lovely expression as well.
It maybe could use a tad bit more varying colour in the flames, to make it look a bit more smooth. Same with the base, 1 or 2 more intermediate colours to give the shading just a little bit more wouldn't hurt.
