Description
This is a fairly old piece I did beginning of this year for a Pixelopolis challenge thing. Ya had to do a 48x48 platformy sprite of Popeye and a 'Boktai' sorta isometric but not, Popeye too. Just wanted to upload it here for archiving.I did pretty well in the challenge points thing considering I didn't get around to doing the Boktai one.
Popeye is obviously a licensed character but this graphic is all mine, DA staff.

Colors are spot on and he feels like he could fit right into a Popeye GBA title. Not that I'd probably recommend it, considering how awful most licensed platformers are.

Oh man, Popeye. This brings back memories of the old black and white cartoons that I used to watch as well as the movie with Robin Williams. I even have it on the good old Colecovision. Cool nostalgia, man.
