Renji and Rukia revisiting a place from their childhood. Inspired by episode 32.
I'm very please with the image as a whole. I wanted to color it, but I knew flat, strong colors wouldn't work, so I did some light airbrushing. I don't think it's as good as my Ichigo/Orihime one, but i like it *L*
(BTW, if you're an Ichigo/Rukia person, that's fine. You can think that all you want. Both are opinions, I'm just poking fun.

...You know, my Pro-IchiRuki friend and I just got out of one of our "RukiaX(fill in the blank)" arguments when I found this. Now I can make her mad again! XD But really, you did a fantastic job on this. I really wish I could draw Renji that well.

Eeeeee. So cute!! Just as I'm an IchiHime shipper, I totally support RenjiRukia (though am obviously a bad fangirl because I don't know what the abbreviation of that is... *giggle*). Love the picture - using yellow in the bg isn't something I would have thought of, but it really works great here! *takes notes*

I used yellow because in the original scene when they were kids, the sun was setting and the water and everything was yellow.
I feel with them it's like with Ichigo and Orihime, Orihime knows she wants Ichigo, but Ichigo just hasn't noticed. Renji knows who he wants, but Rukia has been distracted with job issues. XD

that man is so much taller than she is. lol. Its like me and my boy Matthew, thank heaven he's not -that- much taller, he's 6'4" and im 5'9". Everytime I see beautiful art like this, I think of him. Im so smitten.

Yeah, I got the heights of both characters and, converted, Renji is 6'1" while Rukia is a mere 4'7". It's hard to draw a couple with that much of a height difference and make them look natural. But the end result is adorable

lol, it is, and actually, in my family, there is a husband/wife (forget how their related, ive a huge ass family >.< lol) and hubby is 6'5" and wife is 5' exactly. I kid you not, I remember their hights because I asked, it amazed me, and I never forgot. XD. Seeing them together always made me laugh so hard.
