7/16/09 - Finished! Wasn't able to get the lettering done on the floor, like I wanted to. I need to find a book or take a workshop on something. Definitely something I would like to learn and improve on. There is some very light lettering hidden in the fog.

7/13/09 - Nearly done working on the foreground/floor area, then have to darken some areas up a bit. Hope to finish up today or tomorrow

7/9/09 - Working on adding layers of color to the face, working on eye and hand. Holding off now on adding any more layers to the floor as I want to finish up the face first, then work on the reflection on the floor.

7/7/09 - Well I am very lucky this drawing is still around, as my cats can't seem to keep away from it. It has had 3 close calls of getting completely ruined by them this past week. Argh! Anyways, still working on the face, eyes, hand and floor. Getting close to finishing it.

6/26/09 - working on flower and floor still a little bit more to do on sweater and hair and then I will start on face and eyes.

6/25/09 - just about finished with the hair and sweater and then I will start on the floor and finishing touches of the rose.

6/13/09 -My latest work in progress, been working on it off and on the last week or so. Working with color pencils.
I started off working on the face first, but decided to hold off on any more layers of colors on it, til I finish the background, her sweater, her hair and the floor.
The floor is going to be the hardest and not sure how to go about it. But it will have writings like etched onto the floor. Hoping to find a few tutorials online about how to approach it - all about getting the perspective right.
And of course this one is inspired by the song "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence
Any comments greatly appreciated
