Now to your criticism . I totally agree with you! The sad thing is that the model's hair is extremely long and I wasn't intelligent enough to think about that.
So - her hair was never fully on the photograph. The crop was purely above and under the model.

I never use tripods. I find them to be not practical at all. So I held the camera.

A truely lovely shot.
I think a less oblique horizon would have been less distracting as would the top of her head being below/above the horizon.
But these are relatively minor suggestions to a wonderful picture which conveys a great sense of freedom and life.
